2007 Kiefel KMD 52B Machine Specification: Roll unwinder is from a 2007 KMD78, can handle rolls up to 1,000kg and 1000mm diameter. Refurbished Kiefel preheater available with the machine. (shaft bearings, shaft rubber coating, heaters, thermocouples, and sensors. Done 15 months ago) Upgraded chain lubrication module, now works from a tank with inbuilt pump at the rear of the machine to avoid needing costly oil canisters. Upgraded auto lubrication system from Lincoln, runs off the machine cycle counter and connected to all the oem manual grease points. 3 stations - Forming (including BFS), Cutting/punching and Stacking (no robot). Top and bottom knife heaters Top and bottom plug assist New plug assist motors, top and bottom. (From SEW, exact oem replacements, one replaced 7months ago, the other 5months ago) New toggle bearings for both forming and cutting stations (Done 18months ago) Upgraded A/B stacking to allow A/B stacking perpendicular to the chain direction as well as the standard along the chain direction. (Pneumatic and changeable via a switch on the stacker that then mimics the original A/B). Both can be used but not simultaneously. New stacker motor, gearbox and rack assembly (from SEW, replaced 3 months ago) Max foil width is 600mm, max chain spread is 610mm. This machine is in perfect working order and is kept very well maintained with monthly, quarterly, and yearly checks. It was purchased new from Kiefel by the owner and has been run in a temperature controlled clean room it’s entire life.
